This year, the distribution of applicants by gender has changed significantly. If in previous years this indicator was almost 50/50, then this time, the number of women significantly prevails (58%). The average age of applicants has also increased – 35 years (against 34 years in the previous selection).
The indicator of the number of first-time applicants remains important for us. In 2023, it is 79%! For us, this means that interest in the programme only grows stronger over the years. And this motivates us to improve and work more on the development of civil society in Ukraine.
In the aspect of professional activity, the top three categories remain unchanged, but this year we added a new one – military service to encourage active public activity after the war of representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Every year, we also ask applicants questions on current socio-cultural and political topics. And this time, among the answers that interested us, we saw that:
- <1% of applicants do not support sanctions against the UOC MP. Since this indicator is more than 0%, the influence of MP in Ukraine remains strong, but every day there are new cases of limiting and eradicating this influence.
- 52% consider the possibility of electronic voting, for example, through the application “Diia” in the elections, appropriate now (that is, in the first elections after our victory) or in the near future.
We continue to unite people based on shared values and views. Thank you to everyone who submitted their application this year. Every applicant is very valuable to us.
