USPS Alumni Programme, module 2: Philosophy

We conducted the second training module of USPS Alumni Programme, which is our new educational format.

This time we have prepared a philosophy course for Alumni of USPS. It was conducted by Mykhailo Koltsov, PhD in philosophy, World Bank analyst and head of the YouControl Training Department.

During these two days, the group explored the nature of human sensations: how we see, hear, and feel ourselves and the world around us. In addition, the participants of the course reconstructed the way in which our consciousness forms patterns that shape our perception of the world around us.

As part of the course, the group was introduced to many studies on relationship between environment perception and amount of knowledge that a person has. Also, we conducted a number of experiments in order to feel results of those studies.

How do people accumulate collective knowledge? How do we make decisions and how do we work with our feelings? During these two days, the group members plunged into an unusual study of themselves.

We hope it was useful. And we are preparing the next training module, which will be devoted to economics.
